How to Get Rid of Your Party Members

1. Go to Pitioss Ruins far enough to lose your party.
2. Step back towards where your party members will regroup and as soon as the message that they have appears in the top corner, open your menu and press return to car.
3. Your party members are now gone

The game doesn't really know how to handle it at certain times so make another save file just in case. Do not talk to anyone who gives you hunts, your game will lock up. Also sleeping causes the game to lock up for about 30 seconds to a minute before finally letting you progress again. Not sure if there are any other lock ups, but those are all of the ones I've seen.
