*Shielding with this weapon makes [[Noctis]] enter the [[Cover]] state, restoring his [[HP]] and defending against enemies, at a cost of slowly draining [[MP]]. Unlike normal shields, however, this can block Unblockable attacks with only a small damage penalty.
*Trait: [[Splash Damage]]. Warp strikes with this weapon have a weirdly large radius, allowing you to clear crowds of enemies. Great for warp-strike AP farming (as all of us know by now).
*Has a higher than normal capacity to force enemies into the Vulnerable state.
