Hypno Crown is a Accessory.
How to Obtain
Hypno Crown is located in the hardest dungeon in the game, the Costlemark Tower (Menace), which is a multi floor gauntlet protected by dark magic which disables your item menu. You cannot use Phoenix Downs, Potions, etc. To get there:
- Must be on Chapter 15
- Must have finished every regular dungeon on the map, including the often missed Daurell Caverns
- New "?" quest opens up at Meldacio Hunter HQ, with an NPC providing you with the key to all the sealed vaults: Menace Beneath Lucis
- Vault in Costlemark Tower is hidden through a crawl space on the very bottom floor of the push cube maze. (The punish room for failing the maze, where increasing numbers of enemies keep spawning)
- While you cannot use items there, you CAN heal by either using Healcast imbued magic or the Death spell from the Ring of the Lucii (which is an excellent idea, given the new buff). The Blood Sword is somewhat viable option as well, but not recommended.
- For an easier time of the final boss there, bring ingredients to craft food that grants the the "Resistant" status buff which makes you immune to the AoE magic attacks. (Lasagna al Forno, Oak-Smoked Devil Gar, Grilled Mighty Barramundi)
